You will be driven south through the wine valleys heading for the medieval castle of Roppolo where there is a superb 15th century wine cellar housing over 20,000 bottles of wine, and a selection of traditional wine making apparatus.

Here you will taste some of the 200 different wines from Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta areas and you will be served by a knowledgeable sommelier.

Then you move on to Viverone, one of the most beautiful and as yet undiscovered lakes in Northern Italy, for your lunch stop.

After lunch you will have the opportunity of taking a tour of the 6 sq. km lake by boat or having free time to explore on your own on foot.
